Introduction

J7 was a small excavation linked to the larger excavations in JP, notably J6 and J2. Because it was small and very little pottery was analyzed it has been assigned to strata using the more securely dated J2 sequence. As a result the strata are tagged using the "J2A" ending, it is a sequence based on the J2 data and is unique to J2. The sequence is provisional in nature until the sequence is incorporated into a larger JP sequence. All strata that are important in J7 have been bolded.
